Juneteenth Celebration Event Set for Saturday at Cocoa Riverfront Park

A Juneteenth celebration event will be held this Saturday at Cocoa Riverfront Park that will feature great food, music and inspirational message from guest speakers.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – A Juneteenth celebration event will be held this Saturday at Cocoa Riverfront Park that will feature great food, music and inspirational message from guest speakers.

The event is scheduled from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Guest speakers include Mr. Stephon Williams and Dr. Tameka Hobbs.

The event will also feature Reflections band on the main stage, with performances by Emma Jewel Charter Academy step team, hosted by CJ Harris.

Food trucks and vendors and a local legends display will be inside the Cocoa Civic Center.

Juneteenth is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating emancipation of enslaved African Americans.
