Florida Highway Patrol responded to a fatal single-vehicle crash off I-95 early Saturday morning that claimed the life of 35-year-old woman from Melbourne.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol responded to a fatal single-vehicle crash off I-95 early Saturday morning that claimed the life of 35-year-old woman from Melbourne.

The crash report says the woman was heading northbound I-95 when she traveled off the roadway and collided with a pole off I-95 near Viera Boulevard.

She was taken to Melbourne Regional Hospital, but later died from her injuries.

The crash happened around 6:22 a.m.
