Merritt Island Christian Rising Senior Clint Hausmann Honors Brevard Law Enforcement With ‘Thin Blue Line’ Flag Parking Space

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – It is things just like this that serve as a constant reminder of how blessed we truly are to serve as Law Enforcement Officers in Brevard County.

Clint Hausmann, a standout student at Merritt Island Christian School, was assigned his senior parking space for next year and couldn’t wait to show his support for law enforcement by transitioning his parking space into a “Thin Blue Line” flag.

Clint literally spent hours working on the project and only had one mission in mind, show the men and women of law enforcement just how much he and his family appreciate them.

Junny and I were honored to be among the first to see the newly designed parking spot and were actually greeted at the school by Clint, his entire family, the school administrators, and other amazing supporters, who truly love our agency and all we do to keep the community safe.

They even had plenty of refreshments for me and Junny, and it was an honor to spend time with them and to personally thank Clint for his tremendous support of law enforcement.

It also made me so proud to see Clint flying our great American Flag on the back of his truck as he clearly loves his country and those who serve.

As you watch what is taking place around some other parts of the country, where Law Enforcement Officers are not appreciated, it truly puts in to perspective just how incredible it is to serve in Brevard County and how our citizens love us, trust us, and protect us, just as much as we love, trust, and protect them.
