The National Weather Service in Melbourne forecast for Brevard County calls for a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m., mostly sunny skies and hot, with a high near 95, heat index values as high as 109, and southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service in Melbourne forecast for Brevard County calls for a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m., mostly sunny skies and hot, with a high near 95, heat index values as high as 109, and southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon.
