The National Weather Service in Melbourne forecast for Brevard County calls for a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m., mostly sunny skies and hot, with a high near 95, heat index values as high as 109, and southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service in Melbourne forecast for Brevard County calls for a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m., mostly sunny skies and hot, with a high near 95, heat index values as high as 109, and southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon.

Saturday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 74. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light after midnight.

Juneteenth: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. Heat index values as high as 102. West southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming east northeast in the afternoon.
