NWS: Brevard Under Tropical Storm Warning, Impact Could Be 3-5 Inches of Rain, Wind Gusts 39-57 MPH

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Hurrican Center has issued a Tropical Storm Warning for Brevard as tropical storm conditions are expected late tonight into Saturday for the Space Coast.

The National Weather Service predicts that the Space Coast could receive 3-5 inches of rainfall and potential wind impacts could be 39-57 mph.

Brevard County is also under a flood watch.

■ Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

■ Sunday Night: A chance of thunderstorms before 8 p.m. Mostly clear, with a low around 73. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

■ Monday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 87. Light and variable wind becoming east 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

■ Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 73. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.

■ Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Sunny, with a high near 88. Light and variable wind becoming east 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

■ Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 74. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

■ Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Sunny, with a high near 89. Light and variable wind becoming east 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

■ Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 74. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south after midnight.
