Registration Now Open for Junior Master Naturalist Day Camp Series for Youth Ages 11–18

Do you have a budding naturalist at home? If so, sign them up for our Junior Master Naturalist Day Camp series! Over three days we will explore unique Florida ecosystems.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Do you have a budding naturalist at home? If so, sign them up for our Junior Master Naturalist Day Camp series! Over three days we will explore unique Florida ecosystems.

You can sign up for one day or all three! Each day, we will meet at a new location to explore the area while learning about the plants, wildlife, and ecosystem through hands-on activities. This day camp is for youth ages 11 – 18.

We will meet at the following locations:

■ July 14th, 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.: Uplands Ecosystems at Enchanted Forest Sanctuary, Titusville

■  July 21st, 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.: Freshwater Ecosystems at Turkey Creek Sanctuary, Palm Bay

■  July 28th, 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.: Coastal Ecosystems at Riverwalk Nature Center, Rockledge

The registration fee is $15 per person, per day. Lunch will not be provided, please bring a bag of lunch and snack that does not require refrigeration. Families are responsible for transportation to and from each location

Participants will be spending most of their time outdoors in the Florida sun and heat. Please make sure to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray.

Participants should wear closed-toe shoes and wear comfortable clothes that will help protect them from the sun. Participants must be a member of Brevard County 4-H and registered in 4HOnline, you will be able to register for 4-H to participate in this program.
