NEW YORK CITY – The Tampa Bay Lightning will look to take a 3-2 series lead tonight in New York when they face-off with the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden tonight for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Championship.

Should Lightning win tonight, they will need another strong performance from goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy who recorded 34 saves Tuesday night in the 4-1 win over New York at Amalie Arena.

Tampa Bay is searching for its first road win in the 2022 Eastern Conference Final after starting the series with two losses at Madison Square Garden.

The two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Lightning are two wins from advancing to the Cup Final for a third- straight season and becoming the first team to do so since the NY Islanders went to five-consecutive Cup Finals from 1980-84.
