BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey released a video on Wednesday pleading for community’s help to locate two suspects who are wanted for animal abuse in Port St. John. Hours later, Sheriff Wayne Ivey fulfilled his promise that he would escort to their jail cell when authorities located both suspects.

The first video showed Sheriff Ivey with Brevard County Animal Center’s medical staff that are caring for a dog that was a victim of the abuse.

“I am personally going to walk them to jail when we find them for what they did to this poor dog,” said Sheriff Ivey.

In a few hours, both suspects identified as Javier Davis and Jamie Davis, were arrested and escorted to jail by deputies and Sheriff Wayne Ivey.

Both suspects were booked into Brevard County Jail.

They are being held on bonds of $22,500.

The first video showed Sheriff Ivey with Brevard County Animal Center’s medical staff that are caring for a dog that was a victim of the abuse.
