BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue Crews from Station 83 extinguished a residential kitchen fire on Thursday afternoon in West Melbourne.

According to officials, firefighters were able to minimize extension to the rest of the house

Assisting Engine and Rescue 83 were units from Brevard County Fire Rescue Stations 82 and 88, and Palm Bay Fire Rescue Station 1.

“A good job was done by all,” said Brevard County Fire Rescue in a statement.
