Cape Canaveral Man Dies in Wrong-Way Collision in Merritt Island, Suspect Arrested

Authorities arrested 35-year-old Damian Dobrosielski from Merritt Island who has been charged with DUI Manslaughter and Vehicular Homicide.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol have arrested a Merritt Island man for a deadly crash early Tuesday morning in a wrong-way crash that killed a 35-year-old Cape Canaveral man on State Road 520 and Myrtice Ave.

Authorities arrested 35-year-old Damian Dobrosielski from Merritt Island where he has been charged with DUI Man slaughter and Vehicular Homicide.

The report has found that Dobrosielskiwas heading eastbound in the westbound lanes in Merritt Island when he ran into another vehicle in a wrong way crash.

Dobrosielski has been booked into Brevard County Jail.

The crash remains under investigation.
