BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service in Melbourne forecast for Wednesday in Brevard County calls for a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m.

Skies will be mostly sunny, with a high near 93, with heat index values as high as 106. South winds will be 5 to 10 mph, becoming east southeast in the afternoon. New rainfall amounts will be less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Wednesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2 am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 77. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light south after midnight.
Thursday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. Heat index values as high as 105. Light south wind becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
Thursday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 75. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
