BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The League of Women Voters of the Space Coast invites the Brevard community to attend a presentation in honor of the 57th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 titled Your Voice, Your Power, Your Vote at 1:30 p.m. on August 6 via Zoom.

The presentation will cover everything you need to know about making your voice count during this election cycle.

The League of Women Voters was formed in 1920 following the passage of the 19th amendment to the U.S. Constitution that gave women the right to vote.

Voting is a fundamental principle, and all Americans deserve the equal opportunity to make their voices heard in our democracy.

The LWVSC is dedicated to using advocacy, litigation, and resources to include more voters, expand and protect voter access and ensure that elections remain fair and accessible.

Registration for the program is free and open to the public. To register, go to www.lwv-spacecoast.org.

A Zoom link will be sent to registrants in advance of the meeting. For more information, contact Kathy Ebersberger at bevyjo1970@gmail.com.
