The Melbourne Police Department’s Stacy Davenport retired after 20 years of dedicated service as a Dispatch Officer and is moving on to teach Public Safety Telecommunications at Titusville High School. (MPD image)

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne Police Department’s Stacy Davenport retired after 20 years of dedicated service as a Dispatch Officer and is moving on to teach Public Safety Telecommunications at Titusville High School.

“We are going to miss her knowledge, dedication, and calm & steady composure when the pressure is on,” said Melbourne Police Department officials.

“Mostly, we will miss her bright and smiley face every day. Thank you for all you have done for the MPD & City of Melbourne Stacy. Best of luck!”
