Melbourne Police Seek Help From Community to Find Wells Fargo Bank Robbery Suspect

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police Department responded to an attempted bank robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank (1970 W New Haven Ave) on July 8.

The man entered the bank wearing a Bass Pro Shop hat, neck gaiter covering part of his face, sunglasses, and a sportscoat.

He went directly to a bank clerk and demanded cash. The clerk immediately called for assistance which caused the male to flee the bank before obtaining any money.

The Melbourne Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to identify the man pictured .
