Norma Ann Burdett, age 86, passed away on June 19, 2022. She was the wife of Alfred Bruce Burdett. A longtime Merritt Island resident, Norma was an accomplished medical professional at Wuestoff Hospital, worked at several physicians’ offices, was a clinical instructor, and a tester for Certifying Nursing Assistants.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Norma Ann Burdett, age 86, passed away on June 19, 2022. She was the wife of Alfred Bruce Burdett.

Born in North Adams, Massachusetts as Norma Ann Theberge, daughter of Alfred Amede Theberge and Rita Rolland Theberge.

She graduated from Drury High School in 1953, Henry W. Bishop Memorial School of Nursing in 1956 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida Southern College in 1984.

Norma was an accomplished medical professional at Wuestoff Hospital, worked at several physicians’ offices, was a clinical instructor, and a tester for Certifying Nursing Assistants.

She is survived by her husband, Alfred Bruce, her two sons, Kevin Bruce, and Stephen Paul, their wives, five Grandchildren and two Great-Grandchildren.

Her sister Jacqueline Marie Bushey and her family. She is pre-deceased by her youngest son James Alan Burdett brother Gary Ryan Tanner and brother-in-law George Jennings Bushey.
