He was called 'Super-Man' by all of his buddies at Melbourne Greyhound Park

On Tuesday July 12, Mark E. Gouthro Jr., of Melbourne Florid, passed away at the age of 81. Mark was born on November 27th, 1940 in Cambridge, MA to Mark and Madeline Gouthro. He was called ‘Super-Man’ by all of his buddies at Melbourne Greyhound Park.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – On Tuesday July 12, Mark E. Gouthro Jr., of Melbourne Florid, passed away at the age of 81.

Mark was born on November 27th, 1940 in Cambridge, MA to Mark and Madeline Gouthro. He worked as a truck driver delivering beer and wine in Massachusetts.

After his move to Melbourne, FL, he started a career in car sales. He also worked as a security guard in his later years. Mark also fondly called Junior loved family, fishing, golfing and most of all betting on the ponies. He was called ‘Super-Man’ by all of his buddies at Melbourne Greyhound Park.

He was a loving father to Mark Gouthro and his long-time companion Emily De Caro, Maureen Power and her husband Dennis, Michael Gouthro, Kelly Parvani and her wife Juli; loving grandfather to Amanda, Dillon, Sophia, Mychael and Rex; dear brother of Patricia Newell and her late husband Gary, Dennis Gouthro and his wife Barbara and Michelle Foster; loving uncle to many nieces and nephews; loving Ex-husband to the mothers of his 4 children, Maryanne Wiley and Kathy Gouthro-Harrigan.
