Cocoa Police are investigating a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian that was critically injured as a result of being hit by a vehicle on Tuesday.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police are investigating a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian that was critically injured as a result of being hit by a vehicle on Tuesday.

The crash occurred just after 9 a.m. in the area of SR-524 and London Blvd.

A 48-year-old female was on foot in the area of the westbound lane of SR-524 when she was struck by a FedEx box truck driven by a 63-year-old female.

The driver is cooperative and multiple witnesses are assisting officers with the investigation.

The 48-year-old female remains in critical condition at the hospital.
