The National hockey league (NHL) 2022/23 season is set to take off on October 7, 2022. The league, which is for professional hockey players in North America, consists of 32 teams in total, with 25 teams playing in the US, while the remaining seven play in Canada.

Being one of the major professional sports leagues in North America, the NHL is regarded as the highest professional ice hockey league in the world.
