sheriff ivey: gave me the opportunity to remind our teachers of how loved they are

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey served as keynote speaker during the “Welcome Back to School” presentation for Brevard Public Schools Teachers at Titusville High School and surrounding feeder schools.
Tuesday morning I had the pleasure of serving as the Keynote Speaker during a welcome back to school presentation for our Brevard Public Schools Teachers at Titusville High School and its surrounding feeder schools!
The event gave me an opportunity to share with everyone in attendance information about school security, issues students may experience outside of school that may affect them, various student-related programs offered by our agency, and of course the importance and value of relationships between our students, teachers, and parents with our School Resource Deputies.
It also gave me the opportunity to remind our teachers of how loved they are by their students, parents, and community.
I personally believe that our School Resource Deputies partnered with our teachers are the single greatest resource we have in protecting our most precious of citizens, our children.
A special shout-out and thank you to THS Principal Gonzalez for inviting me to speak at the event and also for the amazing partnership she has with our agency!
