City of Rockledge to Host Inaugural “Rocktober” 5k Run at the Civic Hub October 1

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – The City of Rockledge will host the inaugural “Rocktober 5K” at the Rockledge Civic hub on October 1.

The race is set to begin at 7:30 a.m.

Funds raised will go towards benefitting the Rockledge High School Track Facility.

Race Amenities include:

■ Race T-shirts (One shirt per racer guaranteed if registered by August 26, 2022)

■ Race Goody Bag

■ After race drinks and snacks!

Early Packet Pick Up:

■ Thursday, September 29th: Running Zone (3696 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne, FL)
10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

■ Friday, September 30th: Rockledge City Hall (1600 Huntington Ln., Rockledge, FL)
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Race Day Schedule:

■ Saturday, October 1st: Rockledge Civic Hub (530 Barton Blvd., Rockledge, Fl, 32955)

■ 6:15 AM: Late Registration & Packet Pickup Opens

■ 7:15 AM: Late Registration & Packet Pickup Closes

■ 7:30 AM 5K Race Start!

*Awards Ceremony immediately following the race

Awards:

■ Top 3 overall men and women

■ Top Masters men and women (40+)

■ Top 3 men and women in each age group: 9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
