Barbara Jane (Boyle) Marion, age 84 passed away in Palm Bay, Florida on July 8. Born in Lowell MA, to Della Jane (Maynard) and William Boyle, she left behind her life partner and great love, Bob Chicoine of Palm Bay, whom she met in the tuna fish aisle at Publix.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Barbara Jane (Boyle) Marion, age 84 passed away in Palm Bay, Florida on July 8. Born in Lowell MA, to Della Jane (Maynard) and William Boyle, she left behind her life partner and great love, Bob Chicoine of Palm Bay, whom she met in the tuna fish aisle at Publix.

Barbara leaves her six daughters, raised with fierce love and pride: Brenda Marion, Paula (Bill) Carbone, Lisa Marion (Leo Farquharson), Tracy (Jay Rouleau) Marion, Robin (Bill O’Connell) Marion, and Jamie (Ray) Green, her beloved 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, sisters Carol Barton, Nancy Landry, brother Bill Boyle, predeceased brothers Hubie Boyle, Roger Boyle, sister Francis LaMothe, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Barbara retired from Data Resources/McGraw Hill in 1992 as a desktop publisher. Later, she worked as a crossing guard in Palm Bay and retired in 2011. Barbara loved being with family and friends, Facetiming with family, playing cribbage, bingo, shopping, dining out with Bob, and drinking Pepsi. Barbara had a wonderful sense of humor, gratitude, generosity, and strong spiritual faith.

A celebration of life and Mass will be held on October 4 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 5330 Babcock Street NE, Palm Bay, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Promiseinbrevard.com/donate.
