OBITUARY: Judith (O’Leary) Lapointe, 83, Passed Away Peacefully at St. Francis Hospice in Melbourne After Long Illness

LIVED IN MELBOURNE FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS

Judith (O’Leary) Lapointe, 83, passed away peacefully at St. Francis Hospice in Melbourne, FL, after a long illness on July 5, 2022. Judith lived the majority of her life in Manchester, but over the last 20-plus years was a resident of Melbourne, FL. 

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Judith (O’Leary) Lapointe, 83, passed away peacefully at St. Francis Hospice in Melbourne, FL, after a long illness on July 5, 2022.

She is the daughter of Walter and Helen O’Leary and was born in Manchester on September 4, 1938. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years, Francis Lapointe.

Judith is survived by her loving children, Stephen Lapointe, Laurie Lapointe and her partner Jim Hurtt and Linda (Lapointe) Beliveau and two grandchildren, Adam and Derek Beliveau.

She is also survived by her sister Denise Paquet and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Judith went to Manchester West and was a long term manager at Home Insurance in Manchester.

Judith lived the majority of her life in Manchester, but over the last 20-plus years was a resident of Melbourne, FL. She was an avid reader and loved to travel. Judy and Fran traveled all over the US and especially loved going to Las Vegas.

There will be a private memorial for both Judith and Francis at a future date to be determined. Interment will be at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
