BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Florida is the home of endless summers. Looking for a way to evade the August heat? Head to downtown Titusville where you are invited to come inside where it’s cool as the Downtown Art Gallery hosts an “Endless Summer Soiree” on Friday, August 26 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Meet the Artists at Downtown Art Gallery, 335 S. Washington Avenue, where the focus this month is on Terrence Cope and his cool “Endless Summer Surfers Series” of paintings and sketches.

Relax and chill while enjoying artworks by 20 local artists featuring Florida beaches, birds, sea turtles, manatees, and more! Cope will be on hand with a live painting & sketching demonstration.

Cope is well known for his textured painting of mangroves. With summer in full force, he has turned his attention to surfing.

Beat the heat with refreshing summer ale tastings, watermelon wine spritzers, and cool tasty summer bites all evening while you are inspired by Florida art including paintings, photography, basketry, gourds, pottery, jewelry, and more!

His Endless Summer Series features playful, light-filled, surfers shaded by their boards in the bright Florida sun, or confidently riding the waves. His pen and ink sketches whimsically capture surfers in action.

Everyone is welcome, no cover charge to attend.

Cope’s paintings are on view until September 10 at the Downtown Art Gallery, Monday thru Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m, and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This amazing art gallery also offers printing and framing services.
