BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA – Satellite Scorpions head coach Brian Helton and quarterback Mark Hinkell spoke with Space Coast Daily Sports Editor Juan Rodriguez on the team’s upcoming season.

Helton spent the last four seasons leading the Mustang’s defense and was named head coach for the Scorpions back on June 16.

Last season under Helton, the Mustangs allowed just 78 points and punched a ticket to the Class 5A state championship game where they finished as State Runner-Up.

Helton will replace Knox Robinson who stepped down in May after taking over from long-time Scorp coach Ted Kimmey, who resigned last January.

Satellite is coming off a historic season after finishing with a 10-3 record and recording their first playoff victory in program history.
