Brevard County Commission Presents Abigail Wright Chamberlin Chapter with Resolution Proclamation

The Brevard County Commission presented Lisa Waters from the Abigail Wright Chamberlin Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution with a proclamation. Waters attended the Brevard County Commission meeting on Sept. 13 and was presented with a resolution proclaiming Sept. 17-23 as Constitution Week.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Commission presented Lisa Waters of the Abigail Wright Chamberlin Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution with a proclamation.

Waters attended the Brevard County Commission meeting on Sept. 13 and was presented with a resolution proclaiming Sept. 17-23 as Constitution Week.

The Abigail Wright Chamberlin Chapter was organized on November 30, 1932, and Lucille Peck Berg, a descendant of this family, was the Organizing Regent of the 85-year-old chapter.

“Our chapter was named after Abigail Wright Chamberlin, daughter of Remembrance, and Elizabeth Wright,” said Waters.

“She was a pioneer wife and mother whose husband, Richard Chamberlin, and their eight sons served in the American Revolution.”
