BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service calls for showers and possibly a thunderstorm on Thursday, with a high near 84. Conditions will be windy, with a south wind of 15 to 20 mph, becoming west southwest at 25 to 30 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph. The chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between 2 and 3 inches are possible.
