BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service in Melbourne forecast for Friday in Brevard County calls for a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 a.m., mostly sunny, with a high near 90. Heat index values as high as 103. Light and variable wind becoming east 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.

■ Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. Heat index values as high as 103. East wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
■ Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 77. East wind around 5 mph.
■ Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. East northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
