BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne High School Bulldog senior offensive lineman Kody Black received a scholarship offer to play collegiate football at the University of South Florida on Wednesday.

Black is a 3-year starter, Florida Class 7A All-State, and a two-time Space Coast Daily–Friday Night Locker Room All-Star. He gets it done in the classroom as well with a 3.7 GPA and a 1030 SAT score.

“After a great call with Coach (Will) Bahler I’m very blessed to have the opportunity to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of South Florida,” said Black.

The 6-foot-4, 285-pound lineman has multiple collegiate football programs to consider such as Cincinnati, NC State, and Florida Atlantic to name a few.
