Event set for the Marriott Courtyard Titusville Kennedy Space Center
The Merritt Island High School Class of 1970 will celebrate their 50th-anniversary reunion on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 11:30 a.m. to dusk at the Marriott Courtyard Titusville Kennedy Space Center, located at 6450 Riverfront Center Boulevard. “Since we had to cancel our 50th MIHS reunion due to COVID, the committee decided to hold a 70th birthday celebration,” said Joanne Delgado.
BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – The Merritt Island High School Class of 1970 will celebrate their 50th-anniversary reunion on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 11:30 a.m. to dusk at the Marriott Courtyard Titusville Kennedy Space Center, located at 6450 Riverfront Center Boulevard.
“Since we had to cancel our 50th MIHS reunion due to COVID, the committee decided to hold a 70th birthday celebration,” said Joanne Delgado.
The event will include a fun day by the pool, with food and drinks available for purchase and the charge to attend Saturday’s reunion is $20 per person or $35 per couple
Rooms are available at the Marriott Courtyard Titusville Kennedy Space Center, please RSVP to the hotel by Sept. 16 to receive the group rate of $179 by calling 321-966-9200.
The hotel is a great viewing area for space launches as there are several scheduled for October.
