OBITUARY: Vera Lee Kraemer, 85, of Melbourne Began Her Life in Heaven Sept. 15

Vera Lee spoke Love fluently

On September 15, 2022, Vera Lee Kraemer, 85, of Melbourne, Florida began her life in Heaven. Her spirit was gravitational in force. As such, strangers quickly became friends and gatherings/parties were a frequent pleasure. She loved themed events- dinners/ brunches and costume parties. She loved entertaining, and was the quintessential hostess.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – On September 15, 2022, Vera Lee Kraemer, 85, of Melbourne, Florida began her life in Heaven.

She was born in Logan, West Virginia on March 9, 1937 to William Bryan and Anna Eloise Ferrell. The oldest of five siblings, she created a life for herself and those around her that was led by both tenacity and compassion.

Her natural talent, organizational, and creative skills shaped all that she pursued. Whether crafting beautiful dresses as a seamstress, creating budgets and streamlining profits as a bookkeeper, maintaining correspondence and communication as a secretary, developing relationships with customers as a bank teller, or selling her own incredible and intricately decorated cakes- her interests were varied but her success was constant.

Her spirit was gravitational in force. As such, strangers quickly became friends and gatherings/parties were a frequent pleasure. She loved themed events- dinners/ brunches and costume parties. She loved entertaining, and was the quintessential hostess.

As her family grew up and her children had children, she provided the roots that brought them home and the support that allowed them to wander. She celebrated everything and everyone. Holidays, Birthdays, New Jobs, New Clothes(Lol)- she was the first to call and say “I’m excited for you. I’m proud of you. I love you.”

Though she spoke Love fluently-Food could be considered her second language. ANY event, whether celebratory or somber- would not be complete until our hearts and our stomachs were full.

Vera was reunited in Heaven with her Brother Dana Ferrell and lives on in the hearts of; Husband Robert H. Kraemer; Brothers W.B (Chris) Ferrell and Mark Ferrell; Sister Vonya (Phillip) Dunnington, Children Lane Robson, Lesa (Tom) Lawhorn, Dale (Wendy) Robson, and Lynn (Jim) Ruda; Grandchildren Michelle (Stephen) Asby, Rachel (Anthony) Couch, James Martin and Jared Robson; Great-Grandchildren Bryson, Mason, Allison, Simeon Couch and Briggs Gomiela; And many more extended family and friends.
