BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – For the sixth straight week the Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer team is ranked No. 1 in the NJCAA Division I poll released this week.
The Titans, who are the defending national champions, are 6-0 on the season and will have to wait a bit longer to open the Region 8 Conference season after Saturday’s women’s soccer game with No. 13 Daytona State College has been postponed due to the threat of Hurricane Ina.
Tyler Junior College continues to be No. 2, with Seminole State (OK) third, Salt Lake Community College fourth, and Hill College fifth.
Eastern Florida State College will host Polk State College, receiving votes in the national poll on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Orlando Health Stadium. Admission is free to women’s soccer games.
