Florida Highway Patrol: 44-Year-Old Palm Bay Woman Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash On I-95

44-year-old woman from Palm Bay was pronounced dead on the scene

Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are on the scene of a fatal crash that occurred at approximately 5:49 p.m. Thursday. According to Florida Highway Public Affairs Officer Lieutenant Tara Crescenzi, the crash occurred in the southbound lanes of I-95 in the area of mile marker 174 in Palm Bay. A 44-year-old woman from Palm Bay was pronounced dead on the scene.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are on the scene of a fatal crash that occurred at approximately 5:49 p.m. Thursday.

According to Florida Highway Public Affairs Officer Lieutenant Tara Crescenzi, the crash occurred in the southbound lanes of I-95 in the area of mile marker 174 in Palm Bay.

Lt. Crescenzi said the crash involved four vehicles, including a 2017 Chevy Cruze, a 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser, a 2013 Ford F-750 with a trailer, and a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe.

The Chevy Cruze driver, a 44-year-old woman from Palm Bay, was pronounced dead on the scene.

The other three drivers were not transported and remained on the scene.

“We currently only have preliminary information as our Traffic Homicide Investigators are currently on-scene investigating this fatal collision,” said Lt. Crescenzi.

The roadblock has been cleared, and all lanes are now open.

This crash remains under investigation.
