Brevard County Solid Waste contractors collected 170,000 cubic yds of vegetative storm debris

Brevard County contractors are to complete storm debris recovery and removal operations in unincorporated Brevard County and participating municipalities as of Monday, Nov. 7. Waste Management, Brevard County’s regular collection contractor, has resumed normal and special collections for residents.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County contractors are to complete storm debris recovery and removal operations in unincorporated Brevard County and participating municipalities as of Monday, Nov. 7.

Waste Management, Brevard County’s regular collection contractor, has resumed normal and special collections for residents.

For remaining piles that may have been missed or new piles, residents in unincorporated Brevard County need to schedule a pickup.

For residents who live in a municipality, please contact your local government for information on debris pickup.

In response to Hurricane Ian, Brevard County Solid Waste contractors collected approximately 170,000 cubic yards of vegetative storm debris and completed the collection in 27 operational days.
