Brevard Public Schools announced that we are going back “live and in person” to the Kennedy Space Center for the 20th Anniversary of our Grade 6 Destination Space study trip program.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard Public Schools announced that we are going back “live and in person” to the Kennedy Space Center for the 20th Anniversary of our Grade 6 Destination Space study trip program.

“As always, we cannot do it without the help of volunteers,” said a BPS official.

The Destination Space program will take place over the course of 15 days in November and December. We are in need of a certain number of volunteers to work each day who can staff key locations (Atlantis, Gateway, Rocket Garden, or Universe Theater) to help teachers/chaperones in finding their way around.

You will not be escorting school groups around the Visitor Complex, just adding extra support and answering questions. You do not need to be a badged KSC worker to volunteer.

The dates that we still need volunteers include: 11/14, 11/15, 11/16, 11/17, 11/29, 11/30, 12/01, 12/05, 12/06, 12/07, 12/08, 12/12, 12/13, 12/14 and 12/15.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Michelle Ferro at ferro.michelle@brevardschools.org. Please let her know which date you are available.
