EFSC Titans Basketball Team Defeats Brunswick Community College 75-65 at Monroe College Invitational

Titans improve to 6-0 on the season
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team picked up a victory Thursday evening on the first day of the Monroe College Invitational in New Rochelle, New York.
The Titans improved to 6-0 on the season with the 75-65 victory.
Eastern Florida State College’s Caleb Byrd led the attack with 30 points while teammates Eric Parnell and Andres Burney each had double-doubles in the win.
Parnell finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds while Burney had 14 points and 10 rebounds.
The Titans led for most of the game and held a 28-point lead midway through the second half.
The 13th-ranked Eastern Florida State College Titans will play host Monroe College Friday at 3 p.m. Monroe College is 4-0 on the season and is led by Melvin Council Jr. who is averaging 27.3 points per game.
