BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Jill Bernadette Corral, 60, of Palm Bay, Florida, lost her hard-fought battle with leukemia on Monday, November 21, 2022, at her home with her loving husband, Peter Corral, by her side.

Jill was born on January 4, 1962, in Plattsburgh, New York, to the late Bernard and Shirley Carter. She graduated from Saranac Central School in 1980 and was a realtor in Plattsburgh for several years before taking a job in the Clinton County Real Property Office.

Jill and Peter relocated to Palm Bay, Florida, in 2010, where she worked as a receptionist for Gateway Dr at Health First Physicians until her ill health forced her into retirement.

Jill touched so many lives during her life journey, and even while she was facing her own health challenges, her friendly smile and words of encouragement inspired many of her fellow patients.

Jill and her husband enjoyed membership in the Space Coast Mustang Club even though Jill was a Dodge girl. She was a kind and loving soul who gathered life-long friends wherever she went. She was an avid crafter and quilter and enjoyed gifting her creations to friends and family.

One of her recent creations contains the quote: “The bee is more honored than other animals. Not because she labors, but because she labors for others.” This quote accurately encapsulates Jill’s personality, and she will be long-remembered for her generous and giving spirit without thought for herself.

She leaves behind Peter Corral, her adoring husband of 30 years, her sisters Julie Chamberlain, Jaye (Chris) Bull, Collette (Tom) Barnard, brother Eric (Cheryl) Carter, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of grieving friends.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 10. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Lodge, 12810 USF Magnolia Drive, Tampa, Florida 33612.
