Waste Management Will Resume Trash Pick-Up Services on Saturday Across Brevard County

Residents are requested to use their yard waste cart for smaller vegetative debris

Brevard County Solid Waste Director Tom Mulligan has announced that Brevard County landfills and transfer stations will open at 12 noon on Friday. Residents should place carts/yard waste containers curbside before 6 a.m. on their service day, keeping in mind that the garbage truck may arrive at a time that is different from what they typically see.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Solid Waste Director Tom Mulligan has announced that Waste Management will resume trash pick-up services Saturday, November 12.

■ Wednesday residential garbage customers will be serviced on Saturday, November 12.
■ Wednesday residential recycling and yard waste customers will be serviced Wednesday, November 16.
■ Thursday residential garbage customers will be serviced Monday, November 14.
■ Thursday residential recycling and yard waste customers will be serviced Thursday, November 14.
■ Friday residential garbage customers will be serviced Tuesday, November 15.
■ Friday residential recycling and yard waste customers will be serviced Friday, November 18.

Residents are requested to use their yard waste cart for smaller vegetative debris for Waste Management to collect and cut any large branches or full trees to no more than four feet in length to allow for the clam trucks to safely pick up large debris.

Clamshell trucks are planned to run as scheduled next week, starting Monday, November 14.
