BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The 2022 State Championship Football brackets were released on Sunday and feature nine teams from Brevard County in the opening playoff round. The games will be played this Friday.

Among the Brevard County teams that made the playoffs feature the following:

■ No. 5 Centennial at No. 4 Melbourne – 7 p.m.

■ No. 8 Satellite at No. 1 Rockledge – 7 p.m.

■ No. 5 Eau Gallie at No. 4 Mainland – 7 p.m.

■ No. 6 Merritt Island at No. 3 Sebring – 7 p.m.

■ No. 7 Dunnelon at No. 2 Cocoa– 7 p.m.

■ No. 6 Titusville at No. 3 Palm Bay – 7 p.m.
