Congratulations to Ocean 302, with Crush XI coming in as runner-up for Best Bite tonight and Ghost Tequila with Bennigan’s West Melbourne as runner-up for Best Drink! All of the restaurants, breweries, and spirits did a fantastic job serving up delicious food and fantastic drinks with ease, even among the large crowds. Space Coast Daily’s Karina Connor barely made it around the entire event and was overly fed and very satisfied. BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Downtown Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is Brevard’s premiere culinary experience showcasing bites and sips from Space Coast restaurants, craft breweries, wine, spirits, coffee and desserts.

One ticket provides access to all the festival offers, including food, drinks, live entertainment featuring the sensational band Hot Pink performing on the main stage, and interactive experiences.

“We are thrilled to host the Downtown Melbourne Food and Wine Festival on November 12th,” said Kim Agee, Executive Director for Melbourne Main Street, a 501c3 non-profit organization.

“Visitors to the Festival will experience a culinary adventure while strolling our quaint downtown district and celebrating the connection between food and our community. The festival provides a unique opportunity to sample bites and sips from dozens of restaurants, including your favorites and new restaurants that have hit the scene since last year. Ten Craft breweries, 32 wines, and over 12 spirits have already been confirmed.”

Returning presenting sponsor Sysco is helping offset food costs for the participating restaurants.

“This event is a great example of Sysco’s purpose to connect people with food,” said District Sales Manager Greg Edwards.

“The Downtown Melbourne Food and Wine Festival provides the perfect venue to enjoy the culinary talent along the Space Coast while supporting meaningful revitalization efforts for Downtown Melbourne.”

A joint effort between ADËLON Capital, Parasol and AD1 Global came together also to be a presenting sponsor this year.

All-inclusive tickets are required to sample the food, wine, spirits, and beer from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. General admission tickets, which include sips and samples from all vendors, are $100 and only available online.

Downtown Melbourne will be open to non-ticket holders to visit the local restaurants, entertainment, and shops during the festival.

There will be live music on two stages and strolling entertainment throughout Downtown Melbourne.

Proceeds from this festival will be used to advocate for the revitalization of Downtown Melbourne under four key focus areas, including Economic Vitality, Design, Promotion, and Organization, while assisting businesses who have an interest in ensuring Downtown Melbourne continues to be the premier destination for unique experiences, tastes, and shopping.
