In today’s world, it’s more important than ever for companies, organizations, and government departments to base their decisions on data.
This means being able to collect, crunch and effectively analyze large amounts of information using technology that is becoming both increasingly sophisticated and accessible.
The more data that can be evaluated, the more suitable a service or product will be.
The digital revolution that we’re all currently in the midst of is all about shifting to more data-driven models in order to achieve greater accuracy and efficiency.

More students will apply to enroll in an online Master’s in Data Science where they can learn the skills and knowledge to extract fresh insights from any given data, and how to articulate their findings to provide innovative solutions for both everyday and specialized problems.
It’s hardly a new trend in itself, but AI is the development set to have the most disruptive positive impact on the way we live, work and even think about the world.
Artificial intelligence will reduce the amount of time spent on mindless, repetitive technical chores, empowering individuals to make data-driven decisions about the things that really matter.
AI increases the speed of data analysis and the potential size and complexity of the database beyond the limits of human capability. Constantly improving algorithms use machine learning to evolve and adapt as more data is fed into them.
Recent examples include natural language processing (NLP) that enables a computer to understand ordinary human speech and informal writing in order to interact in real time and provide tailored solutions.
Along with these developments will doubtless come new laws and regulations around the use of personal data and the rights of individuals. People are more aware of the risks of data harvesting while at the same time they expect services to anticipate their needs.
