Undefeated EFSC Titans Women’s Basketball Ranked No.1 in Region 8 Poll For First Time in Program History

Titans improved to 10-0 by defeating Northwest Florida State College
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team is ranked first in the latest NJCAA Region 8 Women’s Basketball Poll released on Monday morning.
The Titans improved to 10-0 by defeating Northwest Florida State College and Florida Southwestern in the JUCO Shootout last weekend at Daytona State College.
It is the first time the Titans have ever been No. 1 in the Region 8 poll and the first time in almost two decades that a team outside the Panhandle has been ranked No. 1 in the state poll.
The women’s basketball team will host Miami Dade College Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m. at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus.
