BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team picked up a Central Conference road win Saturday.

The Titans won their sixth straight game, defeating the Florida State College at Jacksonville 80-65. Eastern Florida State College improved to 15-5 overall and 5-0 in the conference with the win.

Caleb Byrd and AJ Dixon returned to the lineup for the Titans and helped the Titans wrap up the first round of conference games unbeaten. Byrd finished the game with a team-high 24 points while Dixon finished with 12.

Teammate Matija Zuzic scored a season-high 15 points while Andres Burney chipped in with 13 points.

Tarence Guinyard led the Blue Wave with a game-high 25 points.

Eastern Florida State College, receiving votes in the latest NJCAA Division I poll, will be back at Titan Field House for two games this week.

The Titans will host Polk State College Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
