Tim Bobanic Declares Candidacy to Run for Brevard County Supervisor of Elections in 2024

Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Bobanic as Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Sept. 20

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Acting Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Tim Bobanic declared his candidacy on Thursday to run for Supervisor of Elections in 2024.
“On September 20, 2022, I was honored to be appointed Brevard County Supervisor of Elections by Governor Ron DeSantis. Today, I filed the paperwork necessary to run for Supervisor of Elections in 2024,” said Bobanic.
“I have committed myself to the voters of Brevard and the Elections Office for the last ten years, previously serving as Director of IT and Election Services before my appointment as Supervisor of Elections. I look forward to continuing the great reputation of the Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Office and will continue to fight to protect the sanctity of the vote for all Brevard voters.”
Bobanic was sworn in as Brevard County Supervisor of Elections last October by Circuit Court Judge Kelly J. McKibben in the Brevard County Commission Chambers at the Viera Government Center.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Bobanic as Brevard County Supervisor of Elections on Sept. 20, with the appointment being effective Oct. 1, 2022.
Bobanic served as the Director of Information Technology and Election Services with the Brevard County Supervisor of Elections for more than nine years.
He previously served for four years as the Director of Information Technology for the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections. He is a master Florida certified election professional and earned his bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of South Florida.
