BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Fire Rescue Office of EMS recently hosted a Sudden Cardiac Arrest Recognition Ceremony.

The ceremony was held to honor the following first responders for their life-saving efforts in an incident that occurred in July 2022:

■ Lieutenant Fire Medic Brian Sherbrook

■ Fire Medic Todd Facemyer

■ Fire Medic Jason Silvestri

■ Fire Fighter/EMT Anthony Cristaldi

■ Fire Fighter/EMT Steven Racca

■ Emergency Vehicle Dispatcher Adam Tomkinson

■ Lieutenant Latricia Smith

■ Deputy Hunter Cairo

■ Deputy Jose Acosta-Baez

■ Field Training Officer Breean Lewis

■ Agent Jeffrey Colon

The first responders had the opportunity to reunite with the family and were thanked & honored for the extraordinary work they do every day.
