Chuwee Gaiwan of Palm Bay Claims $2 Million Florida Lottery POWERBALL Prize

TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA — The Florida Lottery announced that Chuwee Gaiwan of Palm Bay claimed a $2 million prize from the POWERBALL drawing held on September 28, 2022, at the Lottery’s West Palm Beach District Office.
The winning POWERBALL ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers but did not match the Power Ball number.
Gaiwan purchased her $2 million-winning POWERBALL with Power Play ticket from Circle K, located at 4950 Babcock Street Northeast in Palm Bay. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
The next POWERBALL drawing will be held Saturday at 10:59 p.m., with an estimated $700 million jackpot.
Tickets must be purchased by 10 p.m. ET to be eligible for this drawing. POWERBALL drawings are broadcast live, in high definition, from the Lottery’s state-of-the-art draw studio in Tallahassee.
