Eastern Florida State College Men’s Basketball Team Cruises Past St. Petersburg College 76-63

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team officially locked up a spot in the Region VIII Tournament with a victory over St. Petersburg College Wednesday night.

The Titans, who won their 20th game of the season, led from the start as they started on a 6-0 run and Eastern Florida State College went on to post the 76-63 win to improve to 10-4 in the Central Conference.

Eastern Florida State College would continue to stay out front as eight players scored in the first half.

Demetrius Robinson would score four of the first six points of the second half and finished with a career-high 18 points. Robinson also led the team in rebounding, grabbing eight in the game.

Robinson wasn’t the only Titan having the best game of the season. Freshman Matija Zuzic hit five 3-pointers and finished with a season-high 17 points in the game.

Andres Burney finished with 15 points and has scored at least 13 points in the past 15 games this season for the Titans. Brandon Garcia had 14 points in the win.

Eastern Florida State College will wrap up the regular season at home against Florida State College at Jacksonville.

The Central Conference game will begin at 4 p.m. at Titan Field House and it will be Sophomore Day.
