The Eastern Florida State College men’s tennis team defeated Florida Palms University 6-1 Thursday at Titan Tennis Center on the Melbourne campus. The Titans improved to 4-0 on the season with the victory.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s tennis team defeated Florida Palms University 6-1 Thursday at Titan Tennis Center on the Melbourne campus.

The Titans improved to 4-0 on the season with the victory.

Eastern Florida State College swept the doubles matches as the duo of Hugo Car and Lucas Gonzalez won the No. 1 doubles 6-2, the team of Eric Tripathi and Colin Tavares won the No. 2 doubles 6-4, and at No. 3 doubles the duo of Eavan Attie and Jett Leong won 6-2.

The Titans went on to win three of the four singles matches to pick up their fourth win.

Eastern Florida State College, which is ranked No. 3 in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings, will play Bates College Thursday at 11 a.m. at Titan Tennis Center.
