Melbourne High School Chamber Orchestra to Perform at National Orchestra Festival on March 16

The Melbourne High School Chamber Orchestra is performing at the American String Teachers Association National Conference for the National Orchestra Festival on March 16, at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando. (BPS image)

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne High School Chamber Orchestra will perform at the American String Teachers Association National Conference for the National Orchestra Festival on March 16 at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando.

The students have been preparing for months and are excited to showcase their hard work. MHS is the only group from Florida performing this year.

There will be a local ASTA NOF preview performance on Friday, March 3, at Eau Gallie High School at 7:30 pm. It is free and open to the public, and donations are accepted.

The Orchestra will perform works by Felix Mendelssohn, Ralph Vaughan Williams, and Aaron Copland.
