OBITUARY: James J. Konopacky, 90, Passed Away Jan. 15 in Melbourne

Jim's exuberance for life will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — James J. Konopacky, 90, of Stevens Point WI passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023, in Melbourne Florida.

He is survived by his wife Joyce, daughter Deborah Fowler, and Grandchildren Colin and Julia Karpfinger.

James served in the U.S. Navy and had a lifetime love of the water and outdoors, spending countless hours fishing, especially in northern WI.

He worked at Montgomery Wards in sales and at Midwest Region for National Photo Finishing Corporation.

Jim traveled the world with his wife Joyce making friends and enjoying food (another pastime) in Russia, Thailand, China, Europe and Turkey.

Jim’s exuberance for life will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A military burial will be held in Milwaukee, WI in the spring.
