BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Fire Rescue along with several engine companies from neighboring departments, came together to spend an afternoon practicing and training on a multitude of staged vehicle extrication and rescues.

Palm Bay Fire Rescue, Melbourne Fire Department, and Brevard County Fire Rescue were granted a unique opportunity to hone their skills during these mock scenarios that would involve using myriad extrication tools and advanced techniques.

“These training sessions are invaluable and crucial for all members of the fire service, as they breed confidence and reliance in one’s ability to perform without flaw during the most emergent events,” said a Palm Bay Fire spokesperson.
